People have been saying it's one of the hottest summers we've had in Melbourne. Thank God other people have confirmed this - I don't remember not being able to cope with the heat like I have this summer. Give me your polar vortex ANY DAY! Will be away for several days next wk with the bf, going to the beach! Not that with my pasty skin I will be sun-baking haha but it will be nice to get out of the city for a while... On another note, watching Revenge and it's really not that great...

Another hot week for Melbourne! >_< I don't deal with heat well =C Haven't painted or drawn a thing since my last upload. I haven't had a holiday since the end of 2012 due to being so burnt out from work. In addition to that, my eyes have been playing up. Going to see the optometrist this Thursday but once again it might just be a whole lot of things contributing to my 'foggy sight'. I've been having regular migraines (which I never used to get) since middle of last year, foggy eye-sight, massive lack in energy and my anxiety issues have been flaring up because I'm so damn tired! Could be that I'm burnt out, need to get my eyes checke

Been absent for the last 5-6ish days as I was working. This shouldn't be an excuse usually but I haven't had a holiday or a proper break in over a year and I'm just burnt out with work and got home everyday feeling wrecked and defeated. Other than that it is mid 40 degrees (105.8F and higher) outside and sunny. For those who haven't experienced the Australian/Southern Hemisphere sun, it feels like its burning a hole into your head it's so intense. In the sun it feels about 10 degrees higher than the actual weather. The Australian Open is currently on and apparently it was about 50 degrees Celsius (122F) on court (those poor tennis players).
